What makes Vendrix different from other corporate cards?

Vendrix is fundamentally different from any other corporate card in several respects. You must use the software for the card to work (see how to use my card below). A business can give Vendrix cards to all who need to make business-related purchases with no worries. The cards are inherently controlled and secure. The Vendrix platform assures that every transaction follows your company's spend logic and is automatically expensed. 

How do I manage expenses with Vendrix?

By going through the act of creating purchases, each transaction is automatically expensed. That means that, prior to swiping the card, Vendrix has already obtained all necessary data that your company needs for expensing. The only thing left to do at that point is upload a receipt which can easily be done by responding to a text with a picture on your mobile device. All of this is available to export to your company’s accounting suite at any time.

Is this a debit or credit card? 

Either one. Your Vendrix account can be set up as a credit account pending approval or you can choose a prefunded account.

What does the billing process look like?

Customers can choose their terms from a list of options (prefunded, 7-day cycle, 14-day cycle, etc.). The account that a business provides will be drafted on the day/cycle that has been selected. Vendrix makes this simple for businesses without having to worry with invoicing terms or late payments.

How do I use my card?

Vendrix cards work completely different from a traditional MasterCard. To make a purchase open the Vendrix App ( and click “Create a Purchase”, you will be prompted to select a mechant, budget and approver. If your company allows it, you will be able to approve the transaction yourself else you will need to select an approver. After the transaction is approved your card will be activated to work at that merchant and at that location only. If you need any support, please use the blue chat support box at the bottom right corner of the Vendrix App. 

Where can I use my card?

Your card is accepted at millions of Mastercard locations worldwide. The card has unique card-level control features that allows your company to decide when, where, how much and how often you can use the card. Only transactions that you explicitly approve will be allowed on the Vendrix Card, this is not only more convenient but also eliminates the need to expense transactions at the end of the week or month. 

What can I purchase using my card?

Your card allows you to make authorized purchases while on official company business. Your card program administrator has the

ability to determine what types of purchases you are authorized to make on behalf of the company. Depending on your user role, you can set up and create purchases. If a purchase meets a certain threshold, it may require a manager to approve the purchase. 

What if I need to make a purchase I am not authorized to make?

There may be times when the company will ask you to use a vendor or make a purchase that you are not presently authorized to

make. In this case, you need to contact your program administrator to adjust our user role or select an approver who can make the purchase during the “Create a purchase” process.

How is this card different from my personal credit card?

Your company has decided to use the Vendrix Mastercard to manage and control business purchases. The Vendrix Mastercard

makes it easier for your company to streamline and reconcile business expenses and improve purchasing efficiencies. While it is not

to be used for personal credit purchases, the card works in the same way your personal card does.

Who is responsible for paying the invoice?

Your company will receive the invoice for all corporate purchases and is responsible for the payment.

What is my credit limit?

Your card program administrator determines the spending limits for your card. It can vary from cardholder to cardholder depending

on your job. Please contact your administrator for more information.

What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

As soon as you are aware of a missing card, log into the Vendrix App ( and place your card on hold. You can do this by clicking your profile icon in the upper right corner. After you freeze your card, contact your company's card program administrator and they will order you a new card.

Who do I call if I have a problem making a purchase with my card?

Report any card acceptance problems to your card administrator. Your card administrator will then report the problem to Vendrix or call 1(205)-490-8884.
